Master Classes
MSU brass facuty lead instrument-specific audition preparation and performance master classes. Focused on the high school and college musician preparing auditions for state and district bands, university scholarships and professional ensembles.

Mock Auditions
A mock audition is an excellent way to fine-tune your solos, scales and sight-reading for your upcmoing auditions. Participants will perform their current audition literature for a panel of judges then receive written comments on their audition.

Individual and/or Group Critiques of Mock Audition
Participants who took part in the morning mock auditions may receive individual sessions with MSU brass faculty to help improve audition skills as well as all participants hearing comments that are applicable to the group. If time allows, there may be some chamber music reading sessions!
